Information provided by Cornel Rademeyer for Kruger National Park

This rare lion sighting took place while guests were on a guided safari drive in Thornybush Game Reserve near Kruger National Park in South Africa.

A small pride of three lionesses – two sisters and their younger cousin – were on the hunt. After approximately five minutes of tracking them, the group watched the pride take down a kudu bull right next to their open safari vehicle on a road in the Greater Kruger National Park area.

The pride started feeding shortly after this video ends, and the videographer felt that it was a very emotional thing to watch but showed the reality of nature.
