Recently, Ignacio Carrera from Miami joined a photographic safari in Botswana that was arranged by Lelobu Safaris. Over the course of his trip, he travelled from Kasane to Maun, joining photography workshops on the Chobe River and in the Savuti. Also adding a quick trip to Victoria Falls before the trip, Lelobu Safaris combined the best options possible within the respective timeframe.
Starting in Chobe National Park then covering the Savuti, the Khwai Concession and Moremi Game Reserve, Ignacio had the opportunity to spend time with top photographic guides, who made sure that the vehicle was always in the best possible place to get fantastic pictures.
As photographic guide Steven Stockhall explains: “We feel that it does not really matter what you are photographing, as long as you are photographing it well. There is often a camaraderie amongst fellow photographers, artists and recorders where everyone gets to share their knowledge and experiences. We like to get up early, often before dawn, to be in the best position possible for sunrise, and we will often spend all day behind the cameras, taking just short breaks for meals and rest. Be assured that your time in the African bush will be optimised so that you return home with epic results.”
And Ignacio most certainly did! He truly loved every minute of the trip – from the quick visit to Victoria Falls to the outstanding professionalism and personal touches of the photographic teams.
Here are just a few more images from his amazing trip to make you jealous.
