Lions killed near Hwange after they predate a cow

Information extracted from Lions of Hwange National Park Facebook page:

Two female lions were shot dead in the Dete area near Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe – for ‘Problem Animal Control’ (PAC) reasons. According to sources the lions killed a young cow that was feeding with its herd within a wildlife area alongside the park. These two female lions were in the company of a sub-adult male who is probably unable to hunt for himself due to his age. The young male lion fled the scene. The facts remain sketchy, and we will update this post if and when further information is provided.
