Tuli Block in southeastern Botswana is an arid wilderness where huge baobabs dominate the landscape, large herds of elephants and eland roam, and sightings of big cats are common safari occurrences.
Mashatu Game Reserve is the most popular place to enjoy Tuli at its best. We have crafted a few packages showcasing the best that Mashatu offers (see below) - giving you flexibility about your choice of lodge and length of stay. Our packages range from six to eight days (ask us to change that to suit your needs), and you can choose from four lodges to suit your budget.

Mashatu lodge options
The packages offered above feature the four lodges described below. You can change the length of stay and lodge combinations to suit your needs and budget.
Mashatu Euphorbia Villas
Mashatu Euphorbia Villas is set atop a cliff, hidden beneath towering euphorbia succulents, overlooking the Majale River.
Accommodation consists of eight ensuite villas that boast an inside shower and outside shower, inside W.C. and a second “loo with a view” and are spacious with many seating areas and relaxation points. Each villa has a private deck with views over the ravine below, solar-heated private plunge pools and solar air-conditioning.
Airy communal spaces encourage guests to connect with the untamed paradise around them, while cosy nooks welcome an aura of relaxation and various indoor and outdoor lounge and dining areas.
Mashatu Lodge
Mashatu Lodge is sheltered under large trees on the banks of a sandy river bed.
Accommodation consists of 14 suites with a private deck, air-conditioning, a double bed and extra-large single bed, a seating area that includes a single day bed, an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower facilities and a separate W.C.
The guest common area features a day lounge, a large swimming pool, the Discovery Room (a museum of all things Mashatu, past and present), a dining area, the Gin Trap bar and a fully-stocked curio shop with African crafts, clothing and jewellery. There is wifi in the guest common area.
Mashatu Tent Camp
Mashatu Tent Camp is located on the shady bend of a remote sandy riverbed.
Accommodation consists of eight tents tucked under the branches of enormous trees, accessible via meandering pathways. Each tent is elevated and has its own private outdoor ensuite facilities, including a toilet and shower.
The guest common area includes a lounge, dining and bar area, plus an open-air thatched gazebo and boma (enclosure). A hide overlooks the floodlit, well-populated waterhole. The camp’s plunge pool invites guests to cool off and escape the relentless heat typical of the summer months.
Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu
Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu is set on the banks of the mighty Limpopo River, with beautiful rolling lawns surrounded by sandstone outcrops.
Accommodation consists of eight elevated luxury tented suites. Large wrap-around decks provide a relaxing outdoor space with views over the Tuli and surrounding bushveld. All suites feature an island bed, lounge area, freestanding bath, large separate shower, double basin vanity area, separate W.C. and ample storage space.
This camp has a swimming pool tucked away against the giant rocks, a star-gazing deck and a hide and walking trail within the lodge grounds.
