Spend 4 nights at Camissa House in your luxury room
Today, it's time to bid farewell to the magical city of Cape Town and the magnificent mountain that has been your backdrop. After a leisurely breakfast and check-out, your transfer driver will meet you in the lobby to take you to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. Upon arrival, you'll switch to a charter flight that will fly to the Sabi Sands airstrip, where your driver-guide will be waiting to take you to Dulini River Lodge.
Nestled above the perennial waters of the Sand River, Dulini River Lodge offers an effortlessly stylish and romantic safari escape. Its subtle African aesthetic, infused with the natural tones and textures of the riverine setting, creates a serene and intimate atmosphere perfect for your honeymoon. Beneath the boughs of mature riverine forest, boardwalks lead to six chic suites, each with a wide private terrace offering breathtaking views that will leave you enchanted and longing for more.
The six suites at Dulini River Lodge, set along the banks of the Sand River, are designed to provide the ultimate romantic retreat. With cantilevered decks boasting heated plunge pools and outdoor showers, you can watch wildlife from the comfort of your suite or enjoy a relaxing soak under the stars. Indoors, the airy, open-plan design flows seamlessly between the dressing area, bedroom, and bathroom, all decorated in soothing natural hues and earthy tones that invite you into a luxurious cocoon amidst the pristine wilderness.
Enjoy panoramic views from the elevated deck overlooking the Sand River and the multi-level dining area provides a vibrant space and a memorable venue for intimate private dinners, ensuring pure honeymoon bliss.
During your stay, you'll embark on exclusive game drives with no more than six adults per vehicle, accompanied by a ranger and tracker team. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is renowned for its leopard sightings, and you may spot one of these elusive cats resting after a successful night hunt. Dulini's professionally trained guides will tailor your experience to your wildlife preferences, whether tracking a specific species or delving into the behaviour of the animals you encounter. All safari vehicles are equipped with camera mounts, high-quality binoculars, blankets, fleece-lined ponchos, and optional roofs for your comfort and convenience.
For a different perspective, enjoy guided bush walks that focus on the smaller details of the safari experience often missed from a vehicle. Whether tracking down larger game species like elephants or rhinos or learning about the region's vegetation and smaller wildlife, these walking safaris offer a unique and educational experience.
As the sun sets, take a moment to enjoy a sundowner during your evening game drive, celebrating the day with a drink or two while soaking in the stunning African sunset.
Spend three unforgettable nights at Dulini River Lodge, where romance and adventure blend seamlessly in this idyllic honeymoon retreat.
After a final morning safari activity and a well-deserved breakfast, it will be time to bid farewell to the African bush and the incredible wildlife that has made your safari so memorable. Once you have packed up your belongings, your guide will escort you back to the airstrip for your flight hop to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. From there, you'll catch your scheduled flight to Johannesburg, where you will continue on to your departure flight.
We hope you've enjoyed an unforgettable honeymoon in Cape Town and on safari. Africa Geographic wishes you all the best on your new adventure together.
