Kwando Reserve

Kwando Reserve is a vast, remote reserve in the far north of Botswana that has only two safari camps.
This massive - 232,000 ha - reserve has the Kwando River flowing along its eastern border and the Linyanti Marshes on its southern border. Habitat types include riverine forests, marsh, vast floodplains, islands of Borassus palms and patches of wooded savannah.
The area has a high concentration of elephants, buffalos and predators and is known for frequent sightings of wild dogs (African painted wolves)
Why us
We live here, in Africa, and have been doing this since 1991. Travel in Africa is about knowing when and where to go, and with whom. A few weeks too early / late or a few kilometers off course and you could miss the greatest show on Earth. And wouldn’t that be a pity?
