NAMIBIA
Safari experiences that you will not find with any other travel company. We know Africa best and will get you to the right place & time to enjoy the greatest shows on Earth!
Bridging the gap between the Skeleton Coast to the west and Etosha National Park to the East, the Huab River Valley (Damaraland) marks the transition from desert to arid savanna habitat.
Damaraland has no national parks - instead, the land is protected by a series of private and community conservancies. And in these protected areas, you will find desert-adapted lions, elephants and rhinos in addition to other specialist dry-habitat species such as mountain zebras, gemsbok (oryx), springbok and brown hyena.
Hidden within the sun-burnished rock formations and mountains of Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the finest collections of prehistoric rock art in Southern Africa - etchings of people, wild animals and cattle. The petroglyphs are believed to be between 2,000 and 6,000 years old. Further south, the many caves and overhangs of Brandberg Mountain are a gallery of over a thousand rock paintings, the most famous of which is the "White Lady", now believed to depict a mystical, shaman-like figure.
