Best time to be in Zanzibar:
It's hot all year round in Zanzibar. Travel from June to October (the long dry season) for uninterrupted sunshine, with temperatures hovering around 30°C - to make the most of its beautiful beaches and spectacular diving. During January and February (the short dry season), the days are hot and sunny, and the sea is at its clearest, making it an excellent time for divers and snorkelers. The rainy season (March to early May) is best to avoid.
