Imagine waking up as the sun rises over one of South Africa’s most magical mountain ranges – breathing in your first morning’s breath of crisp mountain air to the sounds of the forest waking up all around you. You yawn, stretch, pull on your slippers, and step out into the golden morning light – and as the sunlight shines on the majestic Hogsback valley, you better flex your muscles, because you’re about to be part of the beginning of something incredible. Greenpoppers, the first ever Hogsback Reforest Fest is upon us!

Greenpop, Terra-Khaya Family & Eco Lodge, and Reliance Compost are teaming up in September to host a reforestation festival that empowers individuals to be part of the solution. By planting thousands of indigenous trees, the Hogsback Reforest Fest aims to spread ecological awareness and knowledge about one of the most beautiful and diverse regions in the country. Join the movement to reforest Hogsback, one tree and one person at a time!
