Are you the Wild Kid?

Do you have a passion for the African Bush and are you relaxed and confident on camera? If it’s a yes, then we’re looking for you!

If you’re interested in becoming the anchor of a new wildlife documentary TV series and if you have an unusual or interesting wildlife related talent (like photography, animal healing/communication) or even if you don’t, you should definitely tell us about yourself because you might be the Wild Kid we’re looking for.

Produced by Bruce Young and Johan Vermeulen of Dream Tent Films, Wild Kid is a natural history family series to be shot in South Africa during the next 12 months.

Here’s a video showcasing some of the fantastic things that you could be doing if you get the part!

What You Need To Do

We need to see what you can do so we need the following from you:

• A short (half page) bio telling us about yourself – who you are, what you do, where you come from and any special talents you may have. Include your name and date of birth too!

• A couple of photographs of yourself in nature.

• A short (a minute or two is great) film clip of yourself in the bush, telling us why you should be our Wild Kid. Put it on YouTube and send us the video link.

Send all of this to us by 11 May 2012 and you could be in the running to become the Wild Kid.

What You Need To Know

If you’re chosen as the Wild Kid, you’ll need to commit to a shooting period of about 8 months. As far as possible this will take place around school holidays and weekends but your family and school will need to support you through the process.

Wild Kid is a great opportunity for you, a young boy or girl, but it does come with responsibilities and the possibility of becoming a public personality.

Closing date is 11 May 2012
