While on a game drive in Kruger National Park we came across a pair of mating lions that had made a wildebeest kill during the night.

After watching them for some time, we noticed some more lions and their cubs, which started to come swiftly around the river bend and head straight towards the kill.

Within moments two males were on top of the kill having their fill, and even some cubs managed to worm their way into the feast. The female, however, was not as lucky and was decidedly pushed away from her meal!
